Frozen Entree Links

Here are the Website links to all of the brands I have tried and want to try… on sale.

Garden Lites – “Start with the freshest, most delectable vegetables. Then whip them into perfect shape using a blend of secret ingredients, years of culinary experience, and a little bit of love, as “mom” used to say. The finished product: Garden Lites line of vegetarian, all natural soufflés and sumptuous zucchini “pasta” dishes. Minimally processed and maximally delicious, each bite is filled with nutritious real flavors.”

Garden Lites has wonderful souffles, but you really want to try and get them on sale. They make a good breakfast and there are recipes on the website using their products as stuffing and hors d’oeuvres. They are coming out with muffins (look out, VitaTops!) and have two zucchini “pasta” dishes.

Lean Cuisine – There are seven categories of meals. with 148 choices: Morning Collection (Here’s a reason to get up out of bed– The new Morning Collection! Our breakfast sandwiches and oatmeals promise to kick start your day the right way.), Additions (Enjoy a restaurant quality meal in minutes with Lean Cuisine® Additions.Simply add your own lettuce or tortilla for an easy meal that’s ready when you are!), Honestly Good (The Lean Cuisine® Honestly Good collection features six different varieties full of all natural, wholesome ingredients. And, with sauce you can add yourself.), Culinary Collection (Try something delightfully delicious with bold recipes curated by culinary experts. Smart Ones is a Weight Watchers line of frozen entrees that also has a lot of variety. There are about 48 varieties and 9 dessert choices, I think. Try Smart Beginnings (Start your day right and help control hunger with a smart breakfast.), Smart Anytime (Stay on track while on the go with satisfying, fork-free options.), Classic Favorites (Perfectly portioned home-style favorites let you eat the foods you love.), Smart Creations (Feel fuller, longer with these delicious, satisfying meals.), and Smart Delights (Success is sweeter with smart desserts that help you stay on track.).

Amy’s Kitchen – You can check out the Indian, Mexican, Thai, and other ethnic offerings, but you need to check the nutritional stats. Amy’s has a Light & Lean product line, which make that figuring a little easier. Amy’s also has a diet plan that you can print out. There are three options: Regular, Gluten Free, and Vegan. There are 1500 and 1800 menus with fruits and vegetables – all planned for 2 weeks. There are even shopping lists you can print out.

Kashi – Kashi has a limited amount of boxed and bagged single entrees. They also have four Steam Meals for Two, so you can share. There are Pizzas, including two promised but hard to find single serving pizzas, and cereals and waffles for breakfast. There are also snack bars, cracker, crisps and cookies, but I haven’t gone there yet.

Cedar Lane“For more than 30 years, CedarLane Natural Foods has created a wide variety of wholesome, delicious, convenient food made from only the best ingredients. Whether you are sitting down for dinner, running out the door in the morning, or eating lunch at work between meetings—there’s a simple-to-prepare and absolutely enjoyable CedarLane product that’s right for you.” Watch out for the entrees – there are several that are TWO servings. There are egg white omelets an two kinds of frittatas, as we;; as a breakfast burrito. These can be pricey, so look for sales and coupons. I am waiting to try the neat looking Lunch Entrees – there are three coordinated wrap and soup combinations that clock in at 220 to 230 calories.

Jimmy Dean Delights – I love their breakfast bowls. The Turkey Sausage Bowl and the Garden Blend are both 240 calories. There are also many breakfast sandwich choices: maple pancake and turkey sausage, sausage, egg white and cheese bagel, three kinds of flatbread sandwiches, two muffin sandwiches (ham or sausage), and a croissant sandwich! There’s even Cinnamon Glazed French Toast and Turkey Sausage Griddler! Must try! They have low fat sausages (including chorizo) and sausage patties. I would be careful and count calories if you add them to something, but I can already think of things to do with the chorizo…
